New School & Community Bursary Scheme

We have introduced a bursary scheme which allows us to reduce costs for schools and community groups. We can subsidise three projects, five workshop packages & one residency each season.

Example costs to schools or community groups under our scheme:
- A workshop package delivered on a single day would cost only £150
- A 5 day arts project would cost only £600(1 practitioner)/£1000(2 practitioners)
-Your school/Group can have a writer, actor or director in residency delivering up to 20 workshops with advise and training sessions for staff and students for £1,200

Subsidised performances

Free workshops

Thanks to our volunteer programme Theatre Without Walls are able to offer a limited number of free drama workshops to qualifying groups even when we don't have specific funding. The number of free workshops we are able to offer varies depending on our workload at particlular times of the year and the availability of our practitioners. Typical organisations recieving free workshops are small community groups and local care based trusts and charities.

Most schools and larger organisations aren't eligible for our free workshop scheme, however we often run specific projects which are funded or sponsored and therefore free at the point of delivery. The availability of these depends on the location of the project, the aims of the project and the requirements set out by the funder.

NI School & Community Drama Scheme

Theatre Without Walls are offering schools and community groups in Northern Ireland the chance to host a drama club with future opportunities for groups to take part in cross-community productions and projects. The project is part-funded and very easy to set up and maintain. We have various operating models depending on your circumstances.
