Theatre Without Walls produce touring theatre, educational theatre and site specific theatre for a range of clients. We always maintain a small repertoire of our own productions which tour across the UK, Ireland and Europe. We perform in found spaces, historic buildings, outdoors, at many festivals & events, in mainstream theatres, art centres and in local community venues and schools.

Our working methodology has a broad base with our major influences being the 'physical theatre' of LeCoq, the 'forum theatre' of Augusto Boal and the 'poor theatre' of Growtoski. Our education work is particularly informed by Augusto Boal's ideas. We use our background in Stanislavski on a daily basis and many of Brecht's ideas particularly in community work. Our work has brought us into contact with traditional and folk forms around the world and our working methodology continues to develop with each new project.

Theatre Without Walls consult for and produce work for many well known organisations and we are always interested in new ideas and commissions. We are able to create new producations 'in-house' for theatres, local authorities, community groups, charities and educational organisations at most scales with relatively short notice. So if you have a project in mind we will certainly be able to provide all you need to make it a success.
